The NCUA this week introduced FAQ+, a search engine designed to answer questions small credit unions may have about a variety of issues.
FAQ+, available 24-7, is a project of the regulator's Office of Small Credit Union Initiatives.
“Answers to common questions credit union managers and volunteers ask about things like training opportunities, grants and other subjects are now literally at their fingertips,” said OSCUI Director William Myers.
“We're constantly striving to improve communications and access to information, and this is another tool to help us accomplish that objective,” Myers said.
The FAQ+ search engine can be accessed through OSCUI's web page on NCUA's website. Visitors will have easy access to links, documents, videos, agency forms and other content. By clicking on any of the four OSCUI program pages – Consulting, Grants and Loans, Training, and Partnerships and Outreach – visitors will see the FAQ+ search box in the upper right-hand corner.
Entering a key word or phrase into the search box will take visitors to a variety of answers. The service also contains an online request function to ask for a response from OSCUI staff for questions for which GAQ+ does not have prepared answers.
