Navy Army Community Credit Union didn't have to look too far to find its new leader.
Sarah O'Brien, executive vice president/controller, has been tapped to serve as president/CEO of the $1.9 billion credit union in Corpus Christi, Texas.
She succeeds Wayne Vann, who has retired after 25 years at the helm there.
O'Brien has over 28 years of banking experience, 26 of them at the 119,300-member Army Navy Community CU.
“The great news for the members is that I have been here; I have been a part of the decisions that have made the organization what it is today. Our goal to serve the financial needs of the people in the communities we do business in, remains front and center,” the new CEO said.
