A former manager and treasurer of the former LEBCO Educators Federal Credit Union in Lebanon, Pa. faces up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty Thursday to credit union larceny in U.S. District Court.
Brian G. Zimmerman, 68, of Lebanon, admitted he stole $60,000 from the credit union by taking money from its vault and then depositing the funds into his personal account from 2004 to 2009, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Harrisburg, Pa.
He was terminated from his position in 2010, said federal prosecutors.
In June 2011, LEBCO Educators FCU agreed to merge into the $385 million Belco Community Credit Union in Harrisburg, according to a Belco Community CU press release.
A sentencing hearing has not been scheduled, authorities said.
