The $560 million, 70-member Directions Credit Unionin Sylvania, Ohio, this week announced winners of its MyLife@DCU Don't Text and Drive Video Contest.
MyLife@DCU is a financial option for members under age 24 with products designed to encourage youth to develop good financial habits.
Winners of the contest included Matthew Corbrett of Perrysburg, Ohio, ($1,000 grand prize), Shelby Schaffer of Willard, Ohio, ($500 second place), and Matthew Kubiak of Toledo, Ohio ($250 third place).

The contest was held on DirectionsCU's MyLife@DCU Facebook page and was open to members and non-members under age 24. Participants were asked to submit a video explaining why they choose not to text and drive.
Video submissions were then voted on for two weeks with prizes awarded to the videos that received the most votes.
