Affinity Federal Credit Union in Basking Ridge, N.J., said this week that Lauretta Farrell has been hired as its new assistant vice president of external affairs and executive director of the $2.3 billion credit union's charitable foundation.
Farrell had been director of marketing and associate vice president for strategic advancement for the past seven years at Centenary College in Hackettstown, N.J., and prior to that was director of development for New Jersey SEEDS, a nonprofit organization that prepares high-achieving, low-income students for admission to private schools and colleges across the country.
“Lauretta brings significant expertise to her new role,” said Affinity President/CEO John Fenton. “Our foundation and community outreach efforts are a significant part of our mission, and we look forward to her contributions.”
She replaces the retired Beth Degnan as executive director of the foundation, Affinity said.
