Business services CUSO CU Business Group LLC has partnered with Financial Tools Inc. to help credit unions bolster their business lending programs.

Through the nine modules found in the CASH Suite platform offered by the Irvine, Calif.-based Financial Tools, credit union business lending teams will be able to manage business development, financial analysis, risk management, pricing, automated credit memo preparation, covenant tracking, portfolio management, stress testing and in-depth reporting, according to CUBG and Financial Tools.

Several CUBG member credit unions have already implemented CASH Suite for advanced financial analysis capabilities and streamlined processes, said CUBG, which is based in Portland, Ore., and serves more than 425 credit unions in 44 states.

“This alliance is an excellent fit that will allow CUBG and Financial Tools to work together in helping credit unions perform quality analysis and give them the tools to make sound business lending decisions,” said CUBG President/CEO Larry Middleman.

As part of the agreement, Financial Tools will be the Gold Sponsor at CUBG's upcoming National Business Services Conference Aug.12-14 in Portland, according to the CUSO.
