The 7,000 executive and staff members of CUES will be offered the online safe deposit box service from DigitalMailer as a new, free benefit of membership, the organization and company said.
My Virtual StrongBox is a cloud-based digital storage system for securing documents such as wills, birth and marriage certificates, tax documents, deeds and titles. Each CUES member will get 25 megs of free space, with the option to buy more if needed, and members can also offer it to their own credit union members at a discounted price, CUES and DigitalMailer said.
Access is available through any computer or the Herndon, Va., company's iPad app and the service begins in September, DigitalMailer said.
“(CUES members) are constantly looking for new opportunities to exceed the expectations of their own members, and we believe My Virtual StrongBox is an organic fit for them. They will be able to try it out for themselves and experience its value, then decide if it's a fit for the members at their credit unions,” said Chuck Fagan, president/CEO of CUES in Madison, Wis.
