A team from the $363 million Securityplus Federal Credit Union spent a day sanding and painting floors, among other tasks, at a Habitat for Humanity project in Baltimore. “We worked side by side with the future homeowners who provide ‘sweat-equity’ to purchase the home,” said the credit union’s CEO, Brett Noll. “What better way to make a positive difference in our local community than by building a home for a family in need?” From left, team members Sharon James, Michelle Evans, Habitat’s Charlotte Rogers and the credit union’s Mark Ely on the job.

GHS Federal Credit Union, Binghamton, N.Y., announced the promotion of Kevin Kelly. Kelly joined GHS in the spring of 2011 and has recently been promoted to IS manager where he oversees the daily operations of GHS’s information systems, including overseeing the IS staff, managing the network, GHS’s defenses, and safeguarding assets by planning and implementing disaster recovery and backup procedures, information security and control structures. Kelly holds an associate degree in applied science, computer technology and has completed courses at Binghamton University.
