The new name of the $131 million Connections Credit Union in Pocatello, Idaho, has recently emerged following a merger between the $69 million Potelco United Credit Union in Pocatello and the $61 million Idaho Advantage Credit Union in Boise.

In April, the 6,845-member Idaho Advantage CU merged into the10,784-member Potelco United.

“Changing our name was a difficult decision to make. However, embracing the Boise Valley will help to continue our credit union and better serve all of our members,” said Brian Osberg, president/CEO of Connections CU. “I am excited to embrace each community we serve as we have for the past 75 years.”

Connections CU operates six branches across seven counties in southern Idaho.
