The $459 million Greater Nevada Credit Union in Carson City said this week it plans to convert to the Open Solutions DNA account processing platform from Fiserv Inc.
The 45,300-member Greater Nevada cited the platform's open architecture and ability to integrate other Fiserv solutions in its decision, the company said.
Fiserv said Greater Nevada is the fourth credit union to commit to the DNA core platform since the technology provider bought open Solutions earlier this year.
Greater Nevada currently runs on a Fiserv CUBE platform, according to the Technology Survey from Callahan & Associates.
“After an extensive evaluation, we decided to stay with the provider who could deliver the best platform for our needs,” Wally Murray, president/CEO of Greater Nevada said in the Fiserv announcement.
“The open architecture of DNA will allow us to utilize a single, member-centric database for a more consistent and personalized member experience,” Murray said.
Greater Nevada is the third credit union to select DNA in the span of a week, joining the $1.4 billion Navigant CU of Smithfield, R.I., and the $1.9 billion MIDFLORIDA Credit Union of Lakeland, Fla., Fiserv said.
The $385 million Vermont FCU of Burlington selected DNA earlier this year, the company said.
Open Solutions platforms currently are in use at 64 credit unions of more than $250 million in assets and 142 of less than $250 million, according to Callahan.
