The $832 million, 31,300-member San Francisco Federal Credit Union recently took part in a cleanup project at a city park. Staff from San Francisco FCU contributed 90 hours over two day to help clean up Raymond Kimbell Playground and the playground at Buchanan Street Mall, both near the credit union's main branch, in partnership with the San Francisco Parks Alliance.
“We've been volunteering with the SFPA's playground cleanup efforts for a number of years, and I'm proud of this year's record-setting participation from our employees,” said Steven Stapp, president/CEO of San Francisco FCU.
“All of the playgrounds we cleaned up are within blocks of our Credit Union,” he said. “It's great to be able to help kids right in our neighborhood enjoy clean, safe playgrounds.”
