APG Federal Credit Union, Aberdeen, Md., announced the promotion of Susan R. Stover to assistant vice president, loan centers/sales, a new position in the credit union. Stover will oversee APGFCU’s two new Cecil County loan centers. She will manage a staff of seven and report to the senior vice president, consumer lending. The loan centers, called My Loan Center, will offer 24/7 ATMs and serve consumers in Cecil and Harford counties. Available loans include mortgages, home equity loans and lines of credit, vehicle loans, credit cards, personal loans, and other consumer loans. Stover joined APGFCU in 2000 as a branch manager and was promoted to vice president, lending support. In 2003, she transitioned to director of sales where she created the credit union’s service and sales culture and pioneered its outbound lending program. Stover brings over 22 years of experience in the financial services industry to her new role. She earned several business certifications from Harford Community College.
