The CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council is offering a new white paper it said should dispel what it calls myths about marketing.

The white paper is titled Marketing is Easy and Other Myths: Strategies to Demystify Ten Misunderstandings That Plague Credit Union Marketing Professionals and is available for free to CUNA Council members – $50 per copy to non-members – in the white paper section at www.cunacouncils.org.

The paper focuses on such topics as ways marketers can show overall value to their credit union, how credit unions can work together to gain market share and how marketers can work better with CFOs.

The CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council has more than 1,000 members and is one of six CUNA Councils comprising more than 5,600 credit union professionals, according to CUNA in Madison, Wis.
