The National Credit Union Foundation is reminding the industry that nominations for the annual Herb Wegner Memorial Awards are due by Friday, June 28.
The honors – for individuals, organizations and the Lifetime Achievement Award – will be bestowed on Feb. 24, 2014, at the GAC in Washington, D.C.
"We encourage everyone in the credit union movement to nominate their best and brightest for what are widely considered the highest national honors in the credit union movement," said Josie Collins, NCUF director of donor relations and resource development.
"The NCUF Awards & Recognition Committee added new criteria this year so credit union advocates who've made a significant impact locally can also be nominated," Collins said this week in the reminder from the NCUF in Madison, Wis.
The Wegner awards have been presented since 1988. Nominations can come from individuals or organizations and the form and more information are available online.
