Staff at Affinity Credit Union's branch in Middletown, N.J., are spearheading a drive to collect monetary and food donations to support the Project Paul food pantry and social services agency in Keansburg, N.J.
The drive will continue through July 31 and area residents are encouraged to drop off donations of non-perishable food items, clothing or money.
Project PAUL was founded in 1980 and serves qualified people in the Bayshore area of Monmouth County, including Keansburg, Aberdeen, Atlantic Highlands, Fair Haven, Hazlet, Highlands, Holmdel, Keyport, Little Silver, Matawan, Middletown, Monmouth Beach, Rumson, Sea Bright, Shrewsbury and Union Beach.
“We have a longstanding relationship with Project Paul, and our members and employees are very excited about being able to assist them with the great work they're doing in our community,” said Filipa Clough, Middletown branch relationship manager for the $2.4 billion, Basking Ridge, N.J.-based Affinity FCU.
