The $449 million Air Academy FCU said it is now offering mobile remote deposit capture to its 44,600 members.

The Colorado Springs, Colo., credit union is using technology from apps developer Malauzai Software of Austin, Texas, and image processing specialist Bluepoint Solutions of Henderson, Nev., to provide mobile RDC.

Air Academy FCU said nearly 20% of its mobile banking users already have used the moble RDC service to deposit $870,000 in nearly 2,600 transactions.

A 2009 startup, Malauzai said it now serves about 20 credit unions and 70 community banks.

Bluepoint Solutions has more than 1,400 clients, the company said, and more than 30 are now using its mobile RDC solutions.
