Alliant Credit Union in Chicago recently donated thousands of gently used clothing items to Goodwill that were gathered during the $8.3 billion credit union's annual Spring Fling Clothing Drive.
The sales of donations to Goodwill help fund job training programs, employment placement services and other community-based programs for people with disabilities or who lack education or job experience or face other employment challenges.
The clothing was collected at the 276,700-member Alliant's Chicagoland offices and was donated to a Goodwill center in Des Plaines, Ill.
