Marie LaVelle, president/CEO of the $53 million Westmoreland Community Federal Credit Union in Greensburg, Pa., has been elected chair of the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association.
Louise Lingenfelser, president/CEO of the $19 million ClearChoice Federal Credit Union in Wyomissing, Pa., has been elected vice chair of the PCUA.
They were elected to their posts during an annual reorganization meeting of the PCUA board of directors held earlier this month in Harrisburg.

LaVelle, a PCUA board member since 2009, represents credit unions $30 million to $100 million in assets. She also serves as chair of the PCUA Governmental Affairs/PAC Trustees Committee. Since 2011, she has been a board member of the Pennsylvania Credit Union Foundation Board. LaVelle has been the president/CEO of Westmoreland Community FCU since 2001.
Lingenfelser, a PCUA board member since 2008, represents credit unions with $30 million to $100 million in assets. In addition, she has served on the Pennsylvania Credit Union Foundation Board since 2008. Lingenfelser has been the president/CEO of ClearChoice FCU since 1986.
