Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union, Poughkeepsie, N.Y. announced the promotion of Scott VanZandt to chief financial officer. VanZandt earned his MBA from Marist College and his undergraduate degree in accounting from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh. He is a graduate of the 2008 Leadership Dutchess Program and past recipient of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Forty Under 40 Award.  VanZandt began his career with HVFCU in May of 1997 as a mail teller in the CU’s member services department. Over the next 10 years, he held a variety of positions in the accounting department with increasing responsibilities, including accounting assistant, accounting manager and controller. Since 2011, he has held the position of vice president of financial planning, analysis and compliance.
