To help residents and families impacted by the tornado that struck Moore, Okla., earlier this week, Pen Air Federal Credit Union said it will collect monetary donations at all of its branches.

The $1.2 billion credit union in Pensacola, Fla., said all funds collected will be sent to the American Red Cross.

Donations will be collected by the cooperative over the next two weeks with the possibility of an extended timeframe depending on the trends of donations as well as the needs of the American Red Cross, Pen Air FCU said.

“Our thoughts are with all of those affected by this horrible tornado,” said Pen Air FCU President/CEO Stewart Ramsey. “Pen Air Federal Credit Union understands the mission of the Red Cross, and hopes our community will respond in helping support that mission.”

Donations will be collected at the credit union's 19 branches serving Northwest Florida and Southeast Alabama, including four student-run credit unions at area high schools
