CUNA Mutual Group's property and casualty claims disaster team has been in contact with the Oklahoma Credit Union League and credit unions in the Oklahoma City area since a destructive tornado struck the area Monday.
"As of late yesterday afternoon, the only credit union reporting damage was the Tinker FCU branch in Moore," said Phil Tschudy, CUNA Mutual spokesman

The $3 billion Tinker FCU based in Oklahoma City, said its branch in hard-hit Moore, Okla., experienced some damages but employees were protected from the tornado by taking cover in the credit union's vault.
