The $391 million ABNB Federal Credit Union in Chesapeake, Va., said more than 5,000 of its 46,000 members have signed up to use its new mobile banking service since its launch in March.
To help promote the app – available to both iPhone and Android users – ABNB conducted a “Go Paperless and Win” contest from March 1 to April 30, drawing weekly winners of such items as iTunes gift cards, iPods, Kindles and an iPad from members who enrolled in e-services they weren't already using.
“We're continuing to develop the mobile features and plan to launch even more convenient tools to our members in the coming year.” said ABNB CEO Carl Ratcliff.
