Mid Missouri Credit Union announced that Johnny O'Hare has been named CEO, replacing retiring executive Sharon Ichord.
“Sharon's departure after such a long and illustrious career will leave a tremendous personal and professional void. We feel most fortunate to have acquired the services of Johnny O'Hare as our next president/CEO and are confident he has the necessary education, experience and personal qualifications to continue our trend of growth and prosperity in the future,” said Chairman Jim Woods of the Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.-based credit union.
O'Hare comes to Mid Missouri from Fort Campbell Credit Union in Clarksville, Tenn., where he has served as chief financial and chief information officer.
“I'm truly honored and humbled by the opportunity to join Mid Missouri Credit Union. As our current CEO Sharon Ichord steps down, I look forward to both the challenge of continuing her great legacy of success, and the opportunity to partner with my MidMo teammates as we approach our 60-year anniversary.”
O'Hare has been working within the financial institution industry for over 30 years. He attended college on an Evans Scholarship from the Western Golf Association, graduating with a bachelor's from Marquette University. He is a CPA, and holds a diploma from the Graduate School of Banking at LSU.
