FedComp Inc. in Fairfax, Va., is moving its core processing hosting business to Ongoing Operations LLC, in Hagerstown, Md., the company and CUSO said.
FedComp's approximately 900 credit union customers will be able to use hosted desktop, exchange and other services along with account processing through the backup and recovery specialist's Cloudworks offering.
Ongoing Operations, formed in 2005 by a group of local credit unions in Maryland, said it now provides business continuity and other technology services to more than 500 customers nationwide through its three data centers.
"We selected Ongoing Operations because of their deep industry knowledge, along with their focus on security and strong disaster recovery background," said Karen Rys, vice president of operations for FedComp.
