The $633 million Cyprus Federal Credit Union recently hosted more than 40 students from Herriman and Copper Hills high schools for a shadow day at the West Jordan, Utah, credit union.

The students heard presentations from more than 25 Cyprus employees on topics such as finance, human resources, business and consumer lending, marketing and branch operations. Each presenter provided information about their education, experience and an overview of day to day responsibilities in their career.

“What a great experience for our staff to engage with young people in our community and for these students to learn more about careers in the financial industry,” said Steve Fifield, vice president of branches for the 16-branch credit union.
