The $60 million Pocatello Railroad Federal Credit Union in Pocatello, Idaho, plans to convert to the FLEX core processing system, according to its owner, Computer Marketing Corp. in Sandy, Utah.

PRFCU, which began as Idaho's first credit union in 1935, plans to convert to the FLEX platform later this year, the company and credit union said.

Cost savings, technology and service were cited in the decision.

The 10,600-member PRFCU currently runs on a CUDP platform, according to the Technology Survey from Callahan & Associates.

CMC said FLEX now has systems in place at nearly 300 credit unions across the United States and in the Eastern Caribbean.
