There have been some changes of the CUNA HR/Training and Development Council's executive committee and officers.
During the 19th annual conference, held this week in Anaheim, Calif., Suzanne Oliver, senior vice president of educational services and governmental affairs for Mountain America FCU in West Jordan, Utah, was named council chair; Robert Davis, senior vice president of human resources for the VyStar CU in Jacksonville, Fla., vice chair; and Cindy Swigert, chief human resources officer for United FCU in St. Joseph, Mich., secretary/treasurer.
In addition, two new members, Lisa Baron, senior vice president of human resources and talent management for Baxter CU in Vernon Hills, Ill., and Linda Steger, vice president of human resources for NRL FCU Oxon Hill, Md., have been elected to the executive committee.
They replace Jennifer Godel, senior vice president and chief human resources officer for Desert Schools FCU in Phoenix, and Diane Wozniak, vice president of human resources for Tampa Bay FCU in Tampa, Fla., who have served their terms.
Rounding out the executive committee are Robert Carmichael, senior vice president of human resources/training and development for Maine Savings FCU in Hampden; Jeffrey Duke, innovation program manager for BECU in Tukwila, Wash.; Jennifer Huggard, assistant vice president of talent for the Northwest Credit Union Association; and Roberta Smith, senior vice president of human resources for Missoula FCU in Montana.
The CUNA HR/TD Council is a member-led partnership of human resources and training professionals that provides members education, leadership, networking support and professional development tools.
