The $5.2 billion Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union in Tampa, Fla., is now offering its 545,000 members mobile remote deposit checking.

The mobile RDC app was developed in-house and is integrated with the credit union's mobile web browser and Apple and Android mobile banking apps. The service is interfaced to WAUSAU Financial System's Deposit 24/7 application for processing, Suncoast Schools said.

The mobile RDC tools join other mobile functionality including bill pay, ATM and branch locator, account transfers and the ability to view alerts, budgets and goals.

“Expanding our mobile services helps us achieve our goal of improving the lives of our members. Through technology, time and money is saved, and we believe our members can appreciate that,” said Wanda Chambers, the credit union's senior vice president of payment services.

Suncoast Schools was chartered in 1934 and now operates 53 branches in 15 counties and is the largest credit union in the Sunshine State.
