Credit Union Miracle Day has now raised more than $6 million for the Children's Miracle Network hospitals in the past 12 years, PSCU said.
This year's $483,000 in contributions from credit unions and their supporters nationwide was helped along by $112,000 raised in sponsored runs, including the Cherry Blossom Run last weekend in Washington, D.C., said PSCU, the St. Petersburg, Fla., payments CUSO and lead partner for the CUMD races since 2008.

“We are very proud of how credit unions and their business partners, including our lead partner, PSCU, and runners have all united and collaborated to raise funds for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals under the umbrella of Credit Unions for Kids,” CUMD Chairman Juri Valdov said in a statement from PSCU.
CUMD's Family of Races now includes the flagship Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run, the Credit Union SacTown Ten-Mile Run in Sacramento' Calif., and two Freedom Runs for our troops in Germany and Kuwait.
