The $3.2 billion Kinecta Federal Credit Union in Manhattan Beach, Calif., has named a veteran banker to the new position of senior vice president of member services.
Christopher Crockett comes to the 246,000-member Kinecta from City National Bank in La Jolla, Calif., where he was senior vice president/regional banking manager.
“As part of an organizational realignment to assure top-notch service to our member-owners, the role of SVP Member Service was added. Previously, Cathy Dominguez directed our branch network and operations, as well as product development. She is now directing marketing,” said Marsha Mathias, the credit union's vice president of corporate communications, government relations, community relations and member care.
Crockett reports to Joseph Whitaker, Kinecta's executive vice president and chief operating officer, and is responsible for overseeing retail services, the Member Contact Center, risk operations and card services, the credit union said.
“With more than 30 years in financial services management and operations, Chris brings a depth and breadth of experience to Kinecta's leadership team,” Whitaker said. “He will be instrumental in driving the credit union's mission to provide exceptional service and value to our members.”
Crockett, a graduate of the University of Southern California, also has been an executive at San Diego National Bank, International Savings Bank and Home Fed Bank, his new employer said.
