Keith Wiemert is the new board chairman for the Credit Union League of Connecticut.

Wiemert, president/CEO of the $123 million Seasons FCU in Middletown, Conn., was elected at the league's 79th annual meeting on April 3.

He succeeds Joanne Todd, president/CEO of the $74 million Northeast Family FCU in Manchester, Conn.

Wiemert has been president/CEO at Seasons FCU since 1997 and on the league's board since 2001. He began his career in 1980 at UConn Student FCU and also has worked for CUNA Mutual Group and several other credit unions, the league said.

The other officers are:

  • Vice Chairman: Michael Hinchey, president/CEO, Wepawaug-Flagg FCU, $76 million, Hamden, Conn.
  • Treasurer: Stuart Phillips, CEO, United Business & Industry FCU, $83 million, Plainville, Conn.
  • Secretary: John E. Keet Jr., CEO, Personal Care America FCU, $18 million, Trumbull, Conn.
