Former Entrust Financial CU President/CEO Susan Adams died Monday following a battle with cancer.  She was 59 and is survived by her husband, Daniel.

In addition to heading the $70 million Richmond, Va., credit union for 24 years, Adams also served on the boards of the Richmond Chapter of Credit Unions, Virginia Credit Union League and Virginia Corporate FCU.

She also served on the board at PSCU, for whom she appeared in a video, and was active in fundraising efforts for the Make-a-Wish Foundation and Children's Miracle Network.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Capital Fund Campaign of Salisbury Presbyterian Church, 13621 W. Salisbury Rd., Midlothian, Va. 23113.

A celebration of Adams' life will be held at Salisbury Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, April 17, at 11 a.m., with a reception to follow in the church fellowship hall.
