Vincent Ciambriello has been named president/CEO of the $682 million Sikorsky Financial Credit Union in Stratford, Conn.
Ciambriello, the credit union's former executive vice president and COO, had been acting president since former President/CEO Thomas J. Williams announced his retirement last year after 45 years with the Connecticut credit union.
"Vinny has played an instrumental role over his 26-year career at Sikorsky Financial Credit Union and we are pleased to announce his appointment as our next president and chief executive officer," said William Boian, board chairman for the 56,000-member Sikorsky Financial.

"It is a privilege and honor to be selected to lead Sikorsky Financial Credit Union. I look forward to continuing our commitment of providing our members with the best financial products," Ciambriello, a CUES Certified Chief Executive designee, said in the credit union's announcement this week.
