Millbury Federal Credit Union Millbury, Mass., announced the promotion of George Wheeler to assistant vice president and audit officer. Wheeler has been a longtime employee of MCU, working exclusively in the audit department reporting to the MCU supervisory committee. He is a designated NAFCU certified compliance officer and certified fraud examiner. Wheeler is a graduate of Johnson and Wales College, Providence, R.I., with a bachelor of science degree in accounting. The credit union also announced the promotion of Kevin Hayes to assistant vice president and branch manager of the Main Street, Millbury office. Hayes previously the branch manager of the MCU Auburn office. Hayes has managed MCU’s school banking program along with MCU’s student choice lending program. He coordinates various financial literacy programs and seminars for MCU. Hayes is a graduate of Anna Maria College in Paxton, Mass., with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
