The $773 million, 104,300-member Ferndale, Mich.-based Credit Union ONE has kicked off Financial Literacy Month with the Saving is Fun Kids Club
The new youth account, geared to children up to 11 years old, has a dedicated website where members can find fun activities, contests, promotions and discounts. The site also features tools to help parents and teachers further talks about money.
Created with an eye toward making learning about finances fun, club mascots, the Money Mammals encourage and educate young members through a mix of games, incentive rewards and prizes.
