Cooperative Business Services LLC said it has boosted its business lending portfolio past the $150 million mark for the north central Ohio area.
In total, CBS said it has closed 678 loans totaling approximately $380 million.
The Cincinnati-based firm made its debut in 2003 through a collaboration between eight of the state's credit unions and the Ohio Credit Union League that led to providing commercial real estate and business financing.
Today, CBS has five production offices in Ohio and Kentucky and offers financing in more than 130 counties throughout the states of Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, New Jersey, Tennessee, South Carolina, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Vermont and Texas
In 2012, CBS's funding projects included a medical facility, stage planning company, veterinary emergency clinic and a plumbing and HVAC company, according to the CUSO.
