The $16.4 million Southshore Credit Union in Cudahy, Wis., plans to convert to the Sharetec core processing system from Bradford-Scott Data Corp. in Indianapolis, the company and credit union said.
Automation, service and opportunity for members were cited by the 2,300-member Milwaukee County credit union for its decision to convert. Southshore CU currently runs on a Fiserv CUSA platform, according to the Technology Survey from Callahan & Associates.
“Selecting the Sharetec System will bring us more growth and revenue and in return, create better services for our members,” said Southshore CU President Jeremy Yardley in Bradford-Scott's announcement.
“Southshore struggled to keep up with today's technology and automate tasks that were slowing them down,” said Keane Kulak, regional director for Bradford-Scott, one of the four owner-regional distributors of the Sharetec platform now in place at about 290 credit unions.
