The $1.8 billion Grow Financial Federal Credit Union has opened its 20th branch, a new facility in Lakeland, Fla.

The Tampa-based credit union said the new branch in Lakeland's Southgate Shopping Center features a 24/7 ATM and an innovative interior design with a touchscreen display inside to give members a virtual tour of the services offered.

“Our members in the Polk County area will now have a more convenient location to visit, and we feel they will be very pleased with the welcoming atmosphere the branch has to offer,” said Bob Fisher, 156,500-member Grow Financial's president/CEO.

Grow Financial said it plans to open another branch in Wesley Chapel, Fla., and three in South Carolina in the coming year.
