Private student lending credit union network, cuStudentLoans, has produced a YouTube video series featuring “puppet rappers” to educate young consumers – 22-28-year-old students – about the benefits of private student lending through credit unions.

The videos feature Business Barry, a bear, who is a laid-back orientation leader, and Squeaky, a squirrel, who is Barry's hip, musical sidekick. They use rap music to teach new hire orientation attendees – more puppets – about finance, credit unions and student lending. The one- to two-minute videos launched March 12.

The videos' topics include:

 ·      The Difference Between Student Loan Consolidation and Refinancing?

·       Is There Any Way I Can Lower The Interest Rate On My Student Loan?

·       What Can I Do If I Can't Afford To Make My Student Loan Payments?

·       Are Credit Unions Really That Great?

·       Squeaky and Barry Drop Student Loan Knowledge (Orientation Training

The cuStudent Loans program is a network of CU Student Lending LLC, a private student loan program in which more than 150 credit unions use a common underwriting and pricing platform and offer loan participations to manage risk.
