Credit Unions for Kids said this week that it raised $10.2 million for 159 children's hospitals in the United States in 2012, a new record.
The Salt Lake City-based campaign said approximately 3,000 credit unions participated as the campaign bested its 2011 mark by $1.5 million for the Children's Miracle Network Hospital.
The collaborative efforts by credit unions ranks the industry third among the CMN's corporate partners in fundraising, Credit Union for Kids said.
