A list of heavyweights has been put together to speak to the 4,200 attendees expected at next week's Governmental Affairs Conference being staged by CUNA at the Washington Convention Center.

The convention will be held Sunday through Thursday. Prominent speakers include House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.). Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Director Richard Cordray.

Also on tap are Rep. Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas), chairman of the House Financial Services Committee; Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), ranking member of the House Financial Services Committee; and newly elected Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), a member of the Senate Banking Committee.

Keynote speakers, meanwhile, are personal finance author Jean Chatzky in the Monday morning general session and broadcast news legend Tom Brokaw in the Monday afternoon session.

The conference schedule is online.
