Paul Chong has been hired as senior vice president of retirement plan services for CUNA Mutual Group.
In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the development of CUNA Mutual Retirement Plan Services business in both the credit union and small business markets, the Madison, Wis., company said.
Chong will also oversee the company's teams in Madison and at CPI Qualified Plan Consultants in Great Bend, Kan.
Chong succeeds Kevin Thompson, who has returned to CUNA Mutual Group's Legal Division as vice president-associate general counsel, the company said.
Prior to joining CUNA Mutual, Chong served as executive director, head of institutional consulting and 401(k) at UBS, where he was directly responsible for UBS Wealth Management's $100-plus billion Institutional Consulting and Corporate Retirement business.
In addition, Chong served as executive vice president for business development at Prudential Retirement and president, Corporate Market Groups for CitiStreet. He also spent time as an entrepreneur and owned businesses in Florida, CUNA Mutual said.
