CUNA Mutual Group in Madison, Wis. is partnering with Digital Insurance to provide additional resources, expertise and education to help credit unions navigate the complexities of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and employee benefits strategy.

The partnership will bring credit unions a broader variety of proprietary tools to help credit unions comply with Obamacare requirements, said Adam Bruckman, president/CEO of Digital Insurance, an Atlanta-based employee benefits agency specializing in insurance for small and mid-sized businesses.

Though some provisions of the health care reform law are already in effect, the bulk of its mandates that will have the biggest cost impact on credit unions and their employees will kick in this year and in 2014.
