The board of directors of South Florida Educational Federal Credit Union has selected Mike DiBenedetto to succeed William Page as president/CEO of the $800 million Miami-based credit union.

Page, who has served the credit union for more than 38 years, will be retiring this month.

DiBenedetto has held both regulatory and professional positions in the credit union industry for 26 years.  Currently, he serves as executive vice president of administration at FirstLight Federal Credit Union in El Paso, Texas. Before that, he held the position of executive vice president at Dade County Federal Credit Union. DiBenedetto has a CPA license, an MBA from the University of Alabama and, prior to his executive experience, served as an NCUA examiner for nine years.
