The $669 million One Nevada said this week that its remote deposit checking service is now seeing volume equivalent to its busiest full-function ATM in the Las Vegas Valley.

The 76,200-member Nevada credit union launched the service last May using technology from Connect Financial Software Solutions LLC in Salt Lake City. Since then it has processed more than 28,000 checks worth more than $11 million through the mobile image capture and deposit service.

One Nevada said more than 9,000 members now actively use its mobile banking service, available to iPhone, iPad and Android users.

“While we knew mobile check deposit was greatly requested by the membership, we had no idea the adoption would be this high this fast,” said One Nevada President/CEO Brad Beal.

One Nevada now has 17 branches and more than 60 ATMs and is open for membership to all residents of Clark, Washoe and Nye counties.
