The SECU Foundation has announced a $2 million challenge grant to build the new SECU Family House at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, N.C.

The foundation is funded solely by the 1.8 million members of the $25.3 billion State Employees' Credit Union in Raleigh, N.C.

The new hospitality house will provide approximately 24 guest rooms with private baths and a large kitchen and living room for guests to use while their loved ones are being treated at the Wilmington hospital, the foundation said.
