Three more credit unions have added remote deposit capture to their mobile banking offerings: the $682 million Michigan First Credit Union of Lathrup Village, Mich., the $835 million Meritrust Credit Union of Wichita, Kan. and the $219 million Superior Choice Credit Union of Superior, Wis.
Michigan First CU implemented an RDC feature for iPhone, iPad and Android mobile devices with help from Austin, Texas-based technology vendor Jwaala, as an enhancement to the credit union's existing mobile app, Michigan First CU said.
"You can't beat the convenience of snapping a quick photo with your phone to deposit a check," said Michael Poulos, president/CEO for Michigan First CU.
