The $2.5 billion State Employees Credit Union in Linthicum, Md.,  has teamed up with the University of Maryland for the Points for Pediatrics Program during the Terrapins' men's basketball season.

For every point scored by the Terps, SECU will donate $5 to the University of Maryland Children's Hospital. SECU has guaranteed a minimum donation of $10,000 regardless of how many points the Terps score this season. In addition, SECU will host University of Maryland Children's Hospital patients, families, and staff when Maryland takes on Wake Forest on Feb. 2.

“SECU is proud to be this year's sponsor for the Points for Pediatrics program,” said SECU President/CEO Rod Staatz. “The University of Maryland Children's Hospital has long been recognized for their superior care and treatment of children with chronic and critical illness, and we are honored to support them.”
