The $126 million 10,200-member The Partnership Federal Credit Union in Arlington, Va., has completed its announced merger with the $15.6 million, 5,900-member Fannie Mae Federal Credit Union.

The consolidation was effective Dec. 1 and the combined operation will continue as The Partnership FCU.

Helen Bunn, the former CEO of Fannie Mae FCU, will continue to manage the Fannie Mae branch in Washington until her retirement early next year after 40 years with the credit union.

"The business combination is complete and Fannie Mae FCU members are already taking advantage of enhanced products and services currently offered by The Partnership FCU," said Theresa Mann, CEO of the remaining credit union.

"Together we make a stronger credit union able to provide more sustainable services for our combined members moving forward," she said.

The Partnership FCU was formed in 2009 with the merger of FDIC FCU and NSF FCU.
