The $1.6 billion, 196,700-member Truliant Federal Credit Union will be merging the 1,500-member, $2.4 million New River Valley Truck Plant Federal Credit Union.
The Winston-Salem, N.C., credit union said the members of the smaller credit union–which serves the Volvo truck manufacturing plant in Dublin, Va.–have approved the merger.
Among Truliant's 22 branches in North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio and Virginia is one a few miles from the small credit union's office in Radford, Va.
